I thought this would be a good example to show you how I draw, sorta... yeah
Not that youz would really care about this mess but hey XD

Mostly with limbs, but I will very roughly sketch out where they will go if I'm not certain it will work out like I imagine. If I don't like it, I will add in another sketchy possibility, but I don't erase the others until I finally go over and detail one that I decide works best with the pose and clean up the rest.
I'm sure a lot of people do that

To be honest I've never actually liked characters with masks. But. When I did this.... The mask was so much fun .w. I see why such characters exist now
